We just got back from our trip to one of the major home decor shows and we're so excited to share all the new decor trends we've discovered.
Here's some of the major things we noticed:
This spring and summer, you can expect to see a lot of beautiful colors, including blue, deep forest green, sea foam, muted terracotta and hints of yellow.
Gold and creams were seen throughout, and it seems like this winning neutral combination will always be in style.
Patterns are everywhere: from wallpaper to patterned bowls, plates, trays and pitchers. Accent decor pieces with animal motifs, including birds, fish and bees.
The beach theme was making waves —with creams and blues and light woods. Expect organic or fluid shaped items plus sea creatures referenced in decor like glass trinkets!
The botanical theme was very strong too—we saw it worked into sculptures, vases and wall art! Colors on trend with this theme were blues, greens, neutrals and cream/whites.
Finally let’s talk about Grandmillenial style. It's a big theme this year.
Not familiar with this style? Think of your grandmother’s furnishings and decor but with a modern twist. Think floral patterns, patterned wallpaper, pleated and ruffled fabrics, tufted furniture, bold saturated color choices all weaved together to create a cozy, yet somehow sleek and trendy aesthetic.
We're always interested to know what you think. What do you agree with? What do you disagree with? And what are your favorite colors, styles, and trends of the moment?
